Simple example: We know smoking is bad for us but that’s most likely not enough to make us quit. This is exactly where we can take advantage of hypnosis and create the desired outcome of quitting to smoke with the help of our subconscious mind.

Hypnotherapy is a type of therapy that uses relaxation, focused attention, and suggestion to help you access your powerful subconscious mind and make positive changes in your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Contrary to popular belief, hypnosis is not a state of sleep or unconsciousness. Instead, it is a state of focused awareness where you are fully awake and in control of your actions. While in a hypnotic relaxation you may experience a heightened sense of concentration, and an increased ability to visualize and imagine.

In a hypnotherapy session, we begin by creating a relaxed atmosphere where you can connect with the sensations in your body. This process strengthens the mind-body connection, which in turn enhances your physical health, emotional well-being, stress management, performance, relationships, pain management, lifestyle choices, and resilience. A strong mind-body connection also helps us explore the root causes of any symptoms you may be experiencing.

Releasing Traumas & Limiting Beliefs

  • Roots: We can explore the root causes by accessing the subconscious mind, where unresolved emotions and past experiences may be stored. In the initial sessions, we start by uncovering any surface-level symptoms, and in subsequent sessions, we go deeper to explore the origins of these issues. Using regression techniques, we can trace the underlying emotions and events that have contributed to the blockages or physical manifestations you may be experiencing.

 

  • Regression: When agreed upon, I will guide you back to these past events, allowing you to revisit and understand their emotional impact. By identifying these roots, we can begin to release the emotional charge tied to them and reframe their influence on your current health. This process helps to clear blockages and stuck energies, bringing healing and restoring balance to both the mind and body.

Finding meaning & purpose

When you feel stuck and it is hard for you to find meaning or direction, hypnotherapy offers a powerful path to clarity, tapping into your subconscious mind, which holds the answers and wisdom you are looking for. It guides you to your purpose and towards a more fulfilling life.

  • Visualisation: In a hypnotic state you find it easier to visualise. Your subconscious can give you answers to various questions related to current work, relationships and many others — to uncover hidden feelings or desires that point toward your purpose. It likes to communicate in images and symbols. I will help you to interpret those. 

  • Connection: As your conscious mind quiets, your subconscious becomes more receptive to higher guidance. Hypnosis is a state where you can meet your higher self or spirit guides. In this state, you might receive insights, wisdom, or intuitive messages that feel deeply personal and meaningful.
