Power of Hypnosis

Did you know that your subconscious mind is responsible for 90% of your brain’s processing power which surprisingly is far beyond your day to day conscious mind?

That’s why mere cognitive understanding does not necessarily empower us to control our thoughts and emotions. Simple example: We know smoking is bad for us but that’s most likely not enough to make us quit. This is exactly where we can take advantage of hypnosis and create the desired outcome of quitting to smoke with the help of our subconscious mind.

Hypnotherapy is a type of therapy that uses relaxation, focused attention, and suggestion to help you access your powerful subconscious mind and make positive changes in your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

What your session looks like

During a session we start slowly in a relaxed atmosphere with getting in touch with the sensations in your body. We are creating a stronger connection between the body and your mind. A strong mind-body connection in itself enhances physical health, emotional well-being, stress management, performance, relationships, pain management, lifestyle choices, and resilience. Furthermore it allows us to explore the root causes of your symptoms during the treatment.  In subsequent sessions we are going deeper into the exploration of the roots. Through regression work we can uncover underlying emotions of your symptoms. When agreed upon I guide you back to previous events in your life that are now leaving you with blockages and manifestations in the body.

We can then release these blockages and reframe their impact on your health.

Towards the end of a hypnotherapy session it's time for you to completely relax and enjoy. You are guided into a state of deep relaxation,  where your mind becomes more open and receptive to suggestions. I then give you specific messages for the desired changes in your health. They are received by your subconscious mind. Through your own subconscious mind these changes can be implemented  in your body and brain. This state of deep relaxation has a calming effect on your entire nervous system lowering tension and stress and generating feelings of peace, calm and energetic rejuvenation. Every session is a chance to discover and integrate bodily symptoms with your mental & emotional wellbeing.

Contrary to popular belief, hypnosis is not a state of sleep or unconsciousness. Instead, it is a state of focused awareness where you are fully awake and in control of your actions. While in a hypnotic relaxation you may experience a heightened sense of concentration, and an increased ability to visualize and imagine. Besides the use of hypnosis in a medical setting for diseases such as Digestive Disorders, Skin Conditions, Pain, PTSD & many more, here are some more examples of the benefits hypnosis can bring to all areas of your life.
